Frequently Asked Questions
How old are the students on the tour?
All students are between the ages of 14 – 18 years. Sometimes we will accept younger or older students, but this is only on exception. Older students must also comply with the code of practice for students under the age of 18.
Can all international students go on the tours?
Yes, and sometimes kiwis go on the tour as well.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we do! We offer discounts if you book early and/or online. For more details please see the Deals & Specials section of this site.
What’s included in the price of the International Student Tours?
Coach, accommodation, supervision, sightseeing, admission, t-shirt and group photo as shown under Included in tour price on each tour itinerary. Meals as per each individual tour itinerary.
What can I do if I don’t book any extra activities?
Depending on the location your tour guide will offer alternative activities (e. g. walking tracks, indoor climbing, hot pools, museum visits and many more). Therefore we recommend you bring some pocket money to pay for admission fees. Don’t forget to present your NZ Student-ID card for student discounts. Seize the day and get to know your travel fellows, read a book, play card games or even rugby with your mates. Always remember your time in New Zealand is too precious to be bored.
Do we have to book activities before the tour starts?
We recommend that you do book at the time you are completing the tour booking, because all activities can only take so many people and you don’t want to miss out.
When do I have to pay for the tour?
You need to pay the full amount at latest 2 weeks before the tours start.
Can I use my credit card to pay for my tour?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards – Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
When do I have to give the parents permission form back?
You need to return the parents permission form at latest 2 weeks before the tours start.
When will I expect to receive my itinerary?
About 1-2 weeks before the tour start date.
